St Andrew of Netteswell, mentioned in a charter 1177.
Two of the three bells were cast by William Dawe of Aldgate, between 1385 and 1418. They were inscribed "I am the beaten rose of the world called Katheren, and I am called the cock, I alone am heard above everything".
A Lawrence brass of 1522 and Bannister brass of 1607 also survive.
A marble memorial by Roubillac, commemorating Robert and Thomas Cross, was given to the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
In 1874 the church was restored.

 

In 1970 the church was made redundant, eventually becoming part of the Harlow Study Centre.
